A Message From Our Commander,
Clarence Buchanan
Welcome to Dorie Miller Post 194 & Auxiliary Unit
My Fellow Legionnaires, in setting my goals for the coming year, it is my wish to follow the Cardinal Principles of the American Legion which are, “the rehabilitation of all disable veterans; the care of the dependents of those who have answered the final call; the care of those who now are suffering from wounds, disease and want; the education of our children; and, service to the community, state and nation”.
In other words, it is my goal to be “in service” of our veterans in need.
For God and Country
Commander Clarence Buchanan
Summer Pause, Community Spirit Continues! ☀️
The members of American Legion Dorie Miller Post 194 and Auxiliary Unit 194 will be taking a brief summer break from our monthly meetings.
We look forward to reconvening on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, refreshed and ready for another season of service, fellowship, and community engagement.
While our regular meetings are on pause, our commitment to Arlington and our veterans remains strong. As summer community events and volunteer opportunities are scheduled, we will share updates and invitations through our communication channels.
We encourage everyone to enjoy a safe, joyful, and memorable summer. Stay connected, stay engaged, and we look forward to seeing you again in September!
Until then, stay connected, stay engaged, and continue making a difference wherever you are. Together, we remain stronger through service.🇺🇸☀️
